I just watched the CBS Evening news and they did a report about Vinyl Records. They showed someone who has an extensive record collection and he goes to stores that sell used records. Then they showed some recording artists starting to release their music on the traditional 12" vinyl. On the downside of this, they will cost about $20.00
I just went to CBS.com and there was a story on How Vinyl Got It's Groove Back

The article you mention is now archived here. One of the comments even brings out Neil Young's famous quote: With digital, the mind is fooled, but the heart is sad.

Thank you for letting me know about the article. After I posted the initial link it was current for a week or so and I couldn't find it after that. I wish that all the record labels would release all new albums on vinyl and reissue a lot of the original albums that were once on vinyl and hard to find.
